multitasking diaries is an audio-visual performance about too many impressions, feelings, reflections and demands. Inspired by the transfer of technical processes to human action and experience – the concept of multitasking from computer technology is exemplary of this – the performer is both an actor and a visual example of a media puzzle. In interaction with images, objects and songs, together with the musician and programmer Oliver Stotz and the light artist Sabine Wiesenbauer, a state of excessive demands is exposed and the social and individually reproduced pressure for self-optimization is demonstrated.
Quiet horror and ingenious humor pervade these multitasking diaries.
